Regulated mods have extra circuitry and electronics. These extra components allow for both safety features and functional features such as a digital screens that display the mod’s temperature and other data. Some regulated mods can warn you when your coil’s resistance is too high and shut the device off if there is a short or malfunction. Some also limit what types of coils you can and can’t use to ensure that the resistance is kept in a safe range. Regulated mods can be run with sub-ohm tanks or RDA RTA RDTA tanks. You can purchase regulated mods on their own or in a kit with a tank included but batteries are excluded. These devices are the next step up from a starter kit and usually require 2 batteries and can go up to 220w.
