I don't like being told I can't do something, I want to find out why I can't do something, and threatening me my batteries will burn out if I put the batteries in on reverse polarity sounds like a challenge to me. So now I can say for certain the protection is built into the mode selection switch, that's what burns out when the batteries are installed incorrectly. That's why it now needs replacing, which I'm sure won't be a problem. As for the switch itself, it's clunky, not a smooth operation at all. If it was necessary to use it every firing it'd be difficult, however since it's only going to be used when changing atomizer it's not a big deal. It seems to have the same dimentions as their Squonk mod, with only the placement of the 5/10 and firing button different. Seeing how it's built I can see why they did that, it just feels a bit wonky to have the fire button where it is. It's not difficult, just different. It's a nice addition to my collection.
